                         The Institute for Allied Professionals

Our continuing education programs are designed for dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and dental office professionals seeking high-quality training that supports professional growth, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.

Courses are offered in self-study, Zoom/online, and select in-person formats.

                Zoom Course Schedule

 

Beginning June 2026, courses will be offered on a rotating schedule:

  • Tuesday Evenings 6pm-9pm or/10pm

  • Thursday Evenings 7pm-9pm or/10pm

  • Sunday Mornings 9am-12pm or/1pm

This schedule allows working dental professionals to attend courses outside of regular office hours.

All In-Person Only CPR training courses must be scheduled directly with our office. Please contact us to reserve a date for your team or office training.

Current Self-Study CE Courses Available

Participants may register at any time for the following PACE-eligible self-study courses:

  • Medical Emergencies in the Dental Office – 3 Credits

  • OSHA & Infection Control Compliance – 3 Credits

  • Prevention of Child Abuse & Neglect – 3 Credits

  • Fluoride Therapy and Preventive Care – 3 Credits

 

Self-study courses allow professionals to learn at their own pace, review materials multiple times, and complete training without leaving their workplace.

Participants will receive their course link within 24 hours of payment and will have 60 days to complete the course.

Additional Courses Coming in 2026

The Institute for Allied Professionals will continue expanding its CE catalog throughout the year.

Opioid Pain Management Course

This course will focus on responsible prescribing practices, addiction awareness, and pain management guidelines in dentistry.

Local Anesthesia Renewal Course

This course will review pharmacology, anatomy, safety considerations, and best practices related to dental local anesthesia administration.

Oral Pathology Course

This course will provide an overview of common oral diseases, abnormal findings, and the importance of early detection in dental practice.
